More About
In 1969, the world was introduced to Monty Pythons Flying Circusand it was never the same again. The British television series was an instant success and the six members which comprised the sketch comedy powerhouse took the next logical step; they made movies. Their first effort, ...And Now for Something Completely Different, was merely a replay of the shows most popular skits, but that venture secured the gangs chance to make the destined-to-be-loved-the-world-over Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Maybe its the wealth of quotable lines (Its just a flesh wound!) or the perfect blend of high and lowbrow entertainment, but whatever the reason, the films fan-base simply continues to grow. Though the troupe did go on to make two more highly successful films, nothing seems to tickle funnybones more than Grail.
