Swoon Worthy

Matt Dusk

By ERIN DEWITT

Those looking for a little romance the day after Valentine’s Day (granted you’re not completely sick of all that lovey-dovey business); Orange County Performing Art Center’s Cabaret Series may have what you’re looking for. Depends, of course, if what you’re looking for is a handsome Canadian who croons like Sinatra. Matt Dusk has already scored a major label debut, but you may know him best as one of the Michael Buble/Jamie Cullum ilk: young, cute and using those vocal chords to hark back to an era when people got singing contracts based on talent alone — not voting via text message. Dusk will be singing all the best classics: Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin and Ella Fitzgerald. Prepare to swoon.
