Are you one of those spotlight-seekers who dream of national fame, practice Britney’s choreography and set your DVR to record American Idol every week? There’s nothing more thrilling than the idea of standing on stage and belting it out to an adoring audience? Well, it’s quite probable that karaoke will be the closest you ever come those dreams of stardom. Sorry. But at least there are institutions like Hogue Barmichaels that take this popular passtime to the next level. You’ll find no tiny rooms here, but instead a full stage, wireless microphones and best of all: bright, dazzling spotlights!
