San Pedro’s Mike Watt has shredded his bass across the globe since the early ‘80s. From his start with the Minutemen to his recent fanboy fantasy playing with the Stooges (RIP, Ron), Watt has been holding it down with ferocious consistency. But as far as he may wander, he always returns home. A tireless and prolific performer, Watt can be found playing most anywhere with a capable sound system and enough room for his impressive moustache. This show is the first in a weekend-long celebration of Alex’s remarkable nine years of business­—certainly the most inebriated millennium baby so far.
