I Love the '90s

By Amanda Parsons

Published on January 23, 2009 at 2:42am

Do you still discuss the OJ Simpson trial incessantly? Or have several oversized flannel shirts hanging in your closet? How about torn magazine pages depicting Jennifer Aniston so that you could style your hair just like hers—got any of those? Then it’s quite possible that you love the ‘90s. Join like-minded people at Long Beach’s Gaslamp every Thursday to rock out to live grunge music by 90s210, say “as if” to popular movies like Clueless or Titanic, and sip on Captain Morgan drinks for just $4.50. Our only advice: Don’t get all Tanya Harding on your friends if they don’t have the same love for the decade that you do, we’re sure they’ll have a change of heart once they hear some C&C Music Factory.
