Ice skating is hard enough without a toothless, 200-pound Canadian looking to knock you on your ass. Add to that a stick and puck, and the mind reels at the necessary coordination. Despite clinching the 2007 Stanley Cup, the Ducks don’t get a lot of love in Southern California—when was the last time you saw a Ducks flag flapping down the 405? Nonetheless, the 15-year-old club soldiers on in its fourth game this season of an NHL freeway series. As a wise, fictional public-access host once said, “Game on!”
