Sometimes sticking to the status quo can prevent you from taking that leap into your unconventional passions. We all know that it did for Troy and Gabriella in Disney’s High School Musical . Troy was a basketball star and Gabriella was a math wiz, but both of their true passions lied in singing. Despite the negative social stigma inflicted upon them by their friends, these two dolls with voices like angels joined the school play to sing their hearts out. And sing they did! So when your friends tell you that it’s not “cool” to scream like a 13-year-old girl while watching a bunch of teenagers with blades strapped to their feet, belting out Disney songs as they glide around on ice in a reenactment of the above named story, you can tell them to shove it. You’re breaking free!
