Downtown Dog Rescue

Bark Victory!

By Taco Beach Cantina

Published on December 11, 2008 at 2:46am

Bark Victory! is raising money for Downtown Dog Rescue on Saturday, December 13th at 8:00 PM at Taco Beach in Long Beach. Downtown Dog Rescue (www.downtowndogrescue.org) is a non-profit that rescues “bait” dogs (Pit Bulls that won’t fight so they’re thrown to other pits basically to be killed). Taco Beach is getting in the spirit by offering a “Yappy Hour” from 6:00 – 8:00 PM when pet owners can bring their dogs and have food and drinks on the patio. There will be special “Yappy Hour” prices which will split the difference between regular price and happy hour prices with that money going to the beneficiary, Downtown Dog Rescue. Patrons will be encouraged to “Chug For Charity” (responsibly of course).
