Mind Blown

Mike Watt, Moris Tepper, Crystal Antlers

Holy trifecta of great music! Continuing its quest to be more and more rad, the fair city of Long Beach will host an incredible and rare show tonight. Mike Watt—known primarily for co-founding The Minutemen along with about a dozen other bands—is one of the most influential, highly cited and credited bassists in rock. Moris Tepper has played guitar with Captain Beefheart(!), Tom Waits, Frank Black and PJ Harvey. But topping this all off is the welcome sight of Long Beach’s own frenetically insane, talented and lovely Crystal Antlers, recently signed to Touch and Go Records and fresh off a huge U.S. tour. Lord only knows how many shirts will be removed this evening.
