One of the great aspects of music education in Southern California is the abundance of highly skilled musicians looking for regular work as an educator (not to mention a good dental plan). Local horn wizard Charles Owens is one of the lucky ones, making a reliable living teaching not just at UC Irvine, but also for the Bruins up the 405.
