Whatever happened to Tone Loc? It’s hard to top a career move such as providing the voice for a talking lizard in FernGully, but having the second-ever rap single to top the charts is a pretty impressive accomplishment, too. After hits “Wild Thing” and “Funky Cold Medina” (what the hell is a Medina, anyway?), Tone Loc did the acting thing for a while, but it appears the deep-voiced artist may be getting back to his roots with a rare performance alongside DJ Squigs at ultra-lux Sutra Lounge.
