OC Music and Fun Festival

By RYAN RITCHIE

Published on October 02, 2008 at 2:46am

Almost every camping trip leads to someone busting out a guitar for a sing-along. The OC Music and Fun Festival is taking that idea to its next logical step by actually booking real bands while guests ditch comfortable beds and heated kitchens for the comforts of sleeping bags and fire pits. The musical portion of the event includes performances by Delilah Jones, Delta Nove, Greg Ginn and the Taylor Texas Corrugators, Frame of Mind, Four of a Kind, JAMBANG, Mother Jones, and more, while the camping element features access to Irvine Lake and surrounding facilities. Word to the wise: Don’t request “Kumbaya.” It’s clichéd.
