Trying out a new shindig for Monday nights, the Pike will debut Vive Le Resistance, an evening of “music, movies and mayhem.” This time, the employees get out from behind the bar and take to the turntables, spinning . . . whatever they want. Aside from the few regular employees-cum-DJs, special guests will be making appearances and showing off their own vinyl collections. Visually enhancing the sounds will be film projections, mostly of the black-and-white variety, with a few old-school cartoons thrown in here and there. Kind of like a home away from home, but with a tap.
