Korea and Vietnam have always shared a cross-cultural relationship, but as the countries continue to establish themselves as significant players in the new century through increased economic and industrial development, their cultural intersections grow stronger as well. UC Irvine is currently hosting “transPOP,” a touring exhibition of artists from Korea, Vietnam and America who have created works addressing the bridges between these nations and the effect they have had on each nation’s development. Tuesdays-Sundays, noon. Starts: Oct. 2. Continues through Nov. 8, 2008
