In 1985, Steven Spielberg had a stroke of genius. He combined a disfigured man-child with a candy-bar fetish (a move known as the Truffle Shuffle), a pirate named after a penis (One-Eyed Willie), a young Corey Feldman and a future hobbit and made a quest film that defined a generation. Richard Donner directed that creation, Goonies, a story of a ragtag group of misfits on the run from a mob family while searching for treasure to save their beloved homes on the Goon Docks. You see, the brilliant thing about the Goonies is that they spend all their time searching for money, when the real treasure are the memories they're making together.
