You Talkin' To Me?

Frank Caliendo

By TOM CHILD

Published on August 07, 2008 at 2:40am

MADtv was a wildly uneven program, but one of its frequent highlights were its spot-on impersonations courtesy of cast member Frank Caliendo. After he left the show, Caliendo got his own showcase, Frank TV, on which he gets to let his uncanny talents run wild. Known primarily for his mimicry of John Madden, George W. Bush, Robert DeNiro and Dr. Phil, Caliendo is bringing his act to Anaheim. Here in Orange County, some people still get a little irked at Bush jokes, so there should be plenty of edge to the performance.
