Bike Ride to Shipley Nature Center

By CHESNEY HIGGINS

Published on July 31, 2008 at 2:40am

We know the troublesome stresses of our modern life well. The traffic, the gas prices, the flailing economy, the mortgage, your insufferably annoying coworkers . . . what's to be done? The Shipley Nature Center recommends that you go green (really, really green) by riding your bike to the center to take in the 18-acres of California friendly plants, local wildlife (including the occasional fellow human-though they promise NO tigers), and free refreshments for all riders. Soak in the natural haven after a beautiful summer evening bike ride by re-joining nature. Everything looks a little bit more gorgrous after an exercise induced endorphin rush.
