Ambrosia Wine Fest

By TOM CHILD

Published on July 17, 2008 at 2:40am

If the only wine in which you are experienced is Charles Shaw, you can be forgiven for not necessarily being a oenophile. There are varieties of wine out there to please everyone and this weekend, Ambrosia Restaurant is committed to helping you find a favorite. Over fify wineries are participating in this inaugral event, giving you plenty of opportunities to pick a winner (just don't forget to use the spit bucket every once in a while, Bukowski). Following the wine tasting, Ambrosia prepares a fabulous five-course meal paired with the perfect wines. With a portion of the proceeds from wine sales going to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, you'll know that that good feeling you're experiencing isn't just a wine buzz . . . it's the feeling that comes from supporting a good cause.
