Chip Off The Block

People break stuff with their body all the time. The internet is littered with proof. Few people do it intentionally and even fewer do it successfully. But pity the poor wood planks that will be churned into mulch by flying fists and feet this weekend. For the first time in its brief history the World Taekwondo Hanmadang will be held outside of Korea. Despite its status as Korea's national sport and one of the most popular of the martial arts, Taekwondo has only been an official Olympic event for the last eight years but the Hanmadang promises all Taekwondo, all the time. This weekend, hundreds of martial artists will descend upon Anaheim equipped with only their limbs and lightning-quick reaction time. It's going to be a rough weekend for muggers.
