John Van Hamersveld has designed highly recognizable pieces for every aspect of pop culture: concert posters and album-cover art for Hendrix, the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Jefferson Airplane and others. The 1985 Olympics mural. The signage for Broadway Deli and Fatburger. The Artery at the Lab is hosting works by Van Hamersveld through the 20th. So now you know who to thank for that Day-Glo Endless Summer poster that's been hanging in your kid's room (and every other OC kid's room) since he was 8.
