The Captain

Peter Hook

He's a permanent part of the Joy Division mythology, and his signature bass lines are forever imbedded in our brains thanks to New Order, but these days, Peter Hook is keeping busy as a DJ. As you'd expect, his output has been dreamy and oh-so-dancey, with whopping chunks of melody and ghostly shivers throughout. Still, his omnivorous hoovering of genres may surprise anyone who expects the Brit-pop legend to remain just that. So while haters will hate, the rest of us will be on the dance floor.
