probably the most logical tactic to milk every last cent they can from the tweeny-bopper phenomenon that is High School Musical , the corporate giants of Disney have decided to come out with a live musical. Surprise! I guess the H.S.M. sneakers, vanity mirrors and Barbie dolls just weren't pulling in enough dough. Ulterior motives aside, the kids do seem to love it. This latest endeavor follows the storyline of the first movie and features all your kids' favorite characters and musical numbers, plus-oh, for joy!- two brand-new songs. Unfortunately, Zac Efron will not be there, so expect massive throngs of disappointed 12-year-olds.
Tuesdays-Fridays, 7:30 p.m.; Saturdays, 2 & 7:30 p.m.; Sundays, 1 & 6:30 p.m. Starts: June 17. Continues through June 22, 2008
