Counterculture favorite Aimee Mann has long since shed her 'Til Tuesday '80s roots—and since that glammy time, she has embarked on a personal and somewhat rocky journey to define music in her own subtle and often dark terms. Momentarily peeking her head out from under the singer/songwriter rock of refusing to go mainstream, Mann wowed audiences, critics and the Academy with her soundtrack of songs for P.T.
