Funky Monkey

Sunsets at the Zoo

By Amanda Parsons

Published on June 05, 2008 at 2:40am

Show us someone who doesn't like to picnic near caged animals, and we'll show you a party pooper. Thankfully, the Santa Ana Zoo is providing the opportunity to experience this kind of close-proximity dining (at sunset, no less) on three Sundays this summer. And each sunset will feature a different funky-smooth jazz band, ensuring that the soundtrack will never be repeated. So pack up a picnic basket and bring your friends to enjoy an evening of animal encounters, free train rides, music and art after hours at the zoo.
