OCHSA Season Finale

By CHESNEY HIGGINS

Published on May 28, 2008 at 2:42am

Knowing what you want to do with your talents at a young age is both a gift and a burden. The most a young artist can hope for is to be surrounded by like-minded, talented compatriots in their own creative journey, with mentors to help them hone their craft and push their technique as far as they can go. That, and a bitchen stage like the one at the Orange County Performing Arts Center on which to really kick out the jams. The students from Orange County High School of the Arts get to finish off their year-end artistic studies with all three. Showcasing all facets of creative studies offered at OCHSA (instrumental music, singing, dance, acting, among others), the kids get to show you their freshly honed skills-which may someday pay the bills. (Do it until they pay you, kids. Do it until they pay you.)
