America's Family Pet Expo America's Family Pet Expo For the kids Special With the advent of the dog stroller, purple-plaid dog jogging suits and $25-per-hour doggie day care, the 2008 America's Family Pet Expo couldn't have come at a better time. Creepy dog (and cat, bird, horse, llama . . .) people will delight in more than 1,000 animals featured in adoption programs, stage shows, demos and competitions. Highlights of the weekend include a cat show; an appearance by Gibson the Great Dane, current holder of the World's Tallest Dog title; and a special Canine Runway competition, in which pets looking for homes parade for potential adopters. Come for the spectacle, adopt 
a dog or cat in the process, and 
stay for the miniature-horse
