Local Poets Read Local Poets

As nice as widespread recognition can be, sometimes all one needs to keep going is a little community support. After all, what use is some nobody's uninformed opinion compared with the adulation of colleagues. Alta Coffee House is hosting this month's Local Poets Reading Local Poets night, in which any local aficionado can come read the work of someone else from the 949 (and, what the hell? the 562 and 714, if need be). Hosted by Michael Miller, the publisher of Moon Tide Press, the Local Poets night promises to give anyone with writer's block the strength to carry on.
