f you've never tried your standup comedy "hot-'n'-fluffy," chubby-cheeked funny man Gabriel Iglesias is more than happy to show you what you've been missing. Whether he's stirring up his best Bush impression or just shuddering with ecstasy over memories of his most recent Krispy Kreme doughnut, Iglesias delivers a dose of gut-busting humor that keeps audiences coming back for seconds. Since his break-out role on the Galavision TV show Que Locos! , this large-and-in-charge Long Beach native has had plenty of crossover success in mainstream comedy, and he's even a hit with the kids. In 2000, he took home a Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Award for his reoccurring role on the kid-friendly sketch-comedy show All That . Those with more "sophisticated" tastes may have seen Iglesias on Jimmy Kimmel Live , The Tonight Show With Jay Leno , BET Comic View , Showtime at the Apollo , and his award-winning Comedy Central special. If you make it out to Irvine, make sure you save some room for a heavy, satisfying dish of laughs that you wouldn't mind sharing with the kids.
