Dat Phan Begins

Dat Phan and Friends

By TANYA SANGPUN THAMKRUPHAT

Published on January 10, 2008

Dat Phan first came to national attention as the original winner of NBC's Last Comic Standing . Since that 2004 win, he has appeared on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno , has lent his voice to Fox's The Family Guy , and has appeared in the movie Cellular , just to name a few gigs. Phan has been headlining a national comedy tour with a few other comedian buddies, and it's making a pit stop at the Irvine Improv. The lineup includes Johnny Dam, Tommy Darrell, Ed Galvez and Bill Devlin and features a preshow musical performance by the Ken Oak Band. Barring severe inebriation, all of these comics should be standing by the end of the evening.
