Men who can dance en pointe ? Not only do they perform better than the dainty girl in the Nutcracker , but they look just as good in their tutus as any female. They are called Trocks from Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo. This ensemble of men dressed as women elegantly performs a comedic repertoire. From exaggerated falls and accidents to cross-dressing, the Trocks have definitely bent a few rules. The company has maintained its concept since its mid-'70s beginning, and it was quickly deemed a success in the United States and Canada. Over the years, the Trocks have travelled internationally, changing audience's perspectives of traditional ballet dancing. In their own terms, they just keep trockin'!
