Da Plane!

Casablanca

Watching Casablanca is, by now, sort of an American rite of passage-like learning to drive or contracting a social disease. The film has been adopted into the canon of classic American cinema, alongside Citizen Kane , Gone With the Wind and Deep Throat . Featuring Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman in iconic roles, the movie tells the tale of Rick, an American expat who runs into an old flame, Ilsa, one night in his Casablancan club. When Rick discovers that Ilsa is running from the Nazis, he must decide whether he can help her escape, even if it means losing her forever. If you don't already know how this one ends, you owe it to yourself to see it. Romantic, suspenseful and beautiful, Casablanca is one case in which the hype is deserved.
