Boyz II Men

By Stephanie Caballero

Published on January 10, 2008

Looks like romance is in the air again. Kicking off that dreaded month of love, Boyz II Men are back-and they're coming to Anaheim, attempting to warm our bitter, bitter hearts with their prescription of R&B monster hits. Since their 1991 breakout song, "Motownphilly," the group has successfully managed to magnetize women with their sticky-sweet tracks (see "On Bended Knee," "I'll Make Love to You," "A Song for Momma") for well more than a decade. Now that the boy-band dynasty is dead and gone, Boyz II Men have returned from their hiatus as a trio, with Michael McCary dropping out due to his bout with scoliosis. Their latest full-length, Hitsville: USA , is a covers album featuring songs from the legendary Motown catalog, but we'll always remember them for those saccharine hits that reached No. 1 on the Billboard charts. Expect to hear a crazed audience swaying their hearts out to "End of the Road" in between renditions of "Mercy Mercy Me" and "Ain't Nothing Like the Real Thing."
