Old Vine Dinner

By GUSTAVO ARELLANO

Published on December 06, 2007

Since it first opened during the summer, Old Vine Cafe has wowed eaters with its Spartan, elegant menu. And with the holidays now upon us, what better time to pass by and impress the in-laws, please the parents and liquor up the lovers? In addition to their normal entrees (muchos pastas and paninis), feast on the tasting menu: a five-course delight featuring fat crab cakes, sweet duck ravioli, a thick leg of lamb and a tres leches chocolate cake, further proof that the Reconquista is not only here, but its pinche delicious. Reservations are highly recommended, lest you try to persuade them with your dishwashing skills.
