The OC Register reports that there is a massive shortfall in the amount of toys donated for needy kids this Christmas season. Local charities such as Spark for Love, Toys for Tots and Operation Santa Claus had asked for 365,000 toys to distribute to kids but had only received 93,000 as of Monday afternoon. Now, I know some of this may be because of concerns with the economy as well as the usual holiday blues—worse with the complete lack of executions—but if Jesus, the reason for the season, were here I'm certain he would say to everyone, "Stop being such douche bags and give a couple toys. Me H. Christ!"
