Roseanne Connor was the best housewife and mom ever! Not your June Cleaver, Roseanne Barr's grainy and honest sarcastic wit raised the fussy blue-collar family in Roseanne to be arguably the funniest, most real family we would see in a sitcom. (Later, we would fall deeply in love with the dysfunctional white-collar family in Arrested Development.) Not only did Roseanne thrive in our hearts for six whole seasons, but it also made our adolescent lives trapped at home somehow more endurable. Well, okay, it was that and Dad's beer.

After a couple of failed TV outings, our beloved matriarch returned to the standup stage. And now, America's favorite drama queen/star-spangled-singing-while-crotch-grabbing lady (who changes her last name more often than we change our own knickers) is coming to the landlocked city of Brea, with all new material and a backup musician (!) to serve us a generous helping of her sarcastically witty kitchen-sink humor.
