Jurors are unlikely to forget how Pisarcik killed Leggs, giggled during the trial and laughed at the verdicts.
"If ever I have seen a person possessed, it was [Pisarcik]," said a juror. "Did you notice his grin seemed to grow with each [guilty] count that was read? To me, it seemed as if he was conveying the message: 'Good. You understood what I did.'"
Not everybody understood. After the verdicts, one of Pisarcik's angry girlfriends stood in the hallway, baffled. "This is so wrong," she said. "He doesn't deserve this. He's a loving man."
