Word 100 feet from the polling place is that "I don't know why we even have to do this," and "This is completely unnecessary, but I know if I don't vote that's exactly what [Schwarzenegger] wants," and "Which of the drug things did you vote for?" "I can't remember. Which was the good one?" "Was there a good one?" Republicans, Democrats and dudes in red-white-and-blue Uncle Sam hats with buttons that say "Gun Control Is a Steady Hand" seem to agree that this election was not needed and that politicians should be doing their jobs so we can do ours, though exactly what kind of work the guy in the Uncle Sam hat did was unclear but it was agreed that hopefully it did not involve food preparation or elective surgery.
