In that same issue, Jim Washburn's advice to competitors in his first Lost in OC column: "Our offices are on Pleasure Island in a treehouse in the clouds where we do the techno-hula all night long. We drive converted submarines and signal our lane changes with torpedoes. So admit your defeat and go back to reporting on the traffic jams we cause."
