illustration by Bob AulThere was a time when you could count on conservative commentator Bill O'Reilly as an unswerving, unthinking George W. Bush supporter. A week ago, O'Reilly said his loyalty now has a deadline.

"The American people are not going to absorb this kind of chaos for several years," he told his radio audience. "I know this country; I know myself. If I'm seeing 10 bodies a weekend over the last weekend in October, that's going to influence my vote."
