Rebecca Schoenkopf neglected to cite Michael Weschler as the photographer of the lovely, poster-sized photographs of blindfolded people grinning and grimacing in "Pretty Lies/Dirty Truths" at BC Space Gallery ("Spicy Protest Jambalaya," March 7). The way they were installed at the gallery, with panels by another artist in front of them, gave them a subtlety Schoenkopf says she originally passed by. She says it wasn't until after she'd written her critique that she became more and more fixated on them; they had, she said, an echo of Daniel Pearl that was haunting and foreboding, and she asked the gallery owner and curator, Mark Chamberlin, to send a copy of the image for her column. Her apologies to Weschler for the oversight.
