Phish Smell

ANONYMOUS

Published on June 28, 2001

Illustration by Bob AulYou and your silly grin, your worn Phish T-shirts and those hardly there, black flip-flops. You and your drunken habits, need for cheese pizza and horrible hula-hooping skills. You and your new girlfriend. There are so many reasons to erase you from my mind. But I can't. Wish I could. Want to badly. I am beside myself with a sickened jealousy when I see you with her or see you drive away to be with her. I want badly to ask you why you picked her over me, but I can't. And I have no idea why I still eat cheese pizza with you, buy you new flip-flops or wear your Phish T-shirts to bed. But I do.
