Congolese guitar master SAMBA NGO puts in his annual appearance at the San Juan Capistrano Regional Library on Saturday night. Ngo smoothly blends the type of droning, cyclical melodies that hallmark much African soukous with a Western-style predilection for speedy, jazz-like riffs and funky rhythms. Fans of world music and guitar heroics in general will both find much to relish at the Ngo a-go-go.
