"Martin Katz is somebody who has this tremendous energy, which is literally infectious," enthuses Muriel Kwint, a mezzo-soprano and UCI master's candidate from Great Britain who took a class from Katz earlier this year. "I found that once I was actually onstage and performing —from the encouragement and the ideas I got—it was like a light suddenly being switched on."
